THIS KID FOLLOWED ME ON TWITTER TODAY.
I know most of you aren't "beliebers," but I'm sure by now you must know that I am! Make fun of me all you want! I've mentioned before that I have a Twitter account dedicated to him, just like millions of other girls out there. I've made a lot of friends with other Bieber fans over the past few months, and whenever I saw any of them get followed by Justin Bieber, I'd be SO thrilled for them. I knew one day it would be my turn, and TODAY was the day! I saw him tweet something, so I simply tweeted, "@justinbieber hasn't been on a following spree for a while..." and I wasn't expecting anything from it, since he always has so many people fighting for his attention. But all of a sudden I looked at his page and a little envelope popped up next to his name, which meant I could direct message him--which meant he followed me! After I made sure I was actually looking at HIS page and not someone with the same photo and name, I immediately covered my wide open mouth and tweeted "OMG" for my followers. It was the most incredible Twitter moment I've ever had! He has people tweeting him every second of every day, and yet I was one of the lucky ones he noticed!
After he followed me, I couldn't stop smiling, and all my cute followers kept congratulating me and telling me how happy they were for me. A lot of them even said, "OMG HE RE-TWEETED YOU!!! CONGRATS!!" which made me confused because I didn't see my tweet on his wall. Tons of people said it though, and one of my friends took a screen shot of their phone and sent it to me, so I know it actually happened. Not quite sure why it's not there anymore, but oh well. I really don't care about anything besides the fact that he FOLLOWED me. Here are a few screen shots that 3 different people sent me. The first shows people that Justin follows (with my name on the list), the second shows my followers (with his name on my list), and the third shows proof of the re-tweet, even though I can't see it.
I know most of you don't even care, but I had to document this incredible day. Just think...if my church time hadn't changed from 1pm-4pm to 11pm-2pm, this blog post wouldn't exist. Crazy how things work like that. :)
